Truro Oxfam damaged in suspected arson attack

A charity shop in Cornwall has been damaged in a suspected arson attack.

About 40 firefighters attended the incident on new Bridge Street in Truro, which caused shops, including Oxfam, to be evacuated.

Police said they believed rubbish had been set alight in an alleyway before fire spread to the shops on Friday evening.

The fire service said damage to the buildings on the street was "extensive".
