Penzance crash driver dies in hospital

A driver involved in a car crash on the A30 near Penzance in west Cornwall on Wednesday evening has died in hospital.

Devon and Cornwall police said the 59-year-old local man died in the early hours of Thursday.

A 26-year-old man from Falmouth has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.

Police want to hear from anyone who saw a black Vauxhall Cavalier and a green Vauxhall Astra near Buryas Bridge at around 20:30 GMT on Wednesday.
