Cornwall Boys' Choir will sing at 2012 Olympic gala

The Cornwall Boys' Choir (CBC) has been invited to perform at the Royal Albert Hall for the Olympic Gala Concert.

The choir made up of boys aged eight to 14 from around the county will perform on their own and with the National Youth Choir of Great Britain.

The concert on 9 April 2012 will see each continent at the Olympics represented by music.

Angela Renshaw CBC director said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for this choir to showcase their talent."

Music Cornwall which runs the choir said it would be auditioning for new members in January.
