A teenager killed in a car crash in Cornwall has been described by friends as a "princess" in an online tribute.

Hayley Lane, aged 17, from Liskeard, was killed on Sunday when her car left the road and landed on its roof at the village of Sheviock, Torpoint.

According to police, a 20-year-old female passenger who was rescued remains in a serious condition at Plymouth's Derriford Hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash on the A374 at Sheviock.

Flowers have been left at the scene alongside the road which was temporarily closed by police.
