Man, 50, rescued from fire in disused Truro factory

Firefighters have rescued a man from a fire at a disused building in Cornwall.

Emergency services were called to the former factory in Truro on Saturday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the fire had been in the basement of the building in Wellington Street.

A 50-year-old man was rescued by firefighters and treated at the scene by paramedics. His condition is not known.
