Twenty-one face Truro Crown Court on drugs charges

Nineteen men and two women have appeared at Truro Crown Court accused of supplying illegal drugs across England.

Police seized drugs, including cocaine and ecstasy, with an estimated street value of more than £500,000 last year.

The defendants, 15 of whom are from Cornwall, and the remainder from Cheshire, Lancashire, West Midlands and Kent, face 24 charges.

All but one are due to appear at Truro Crown Court on 21 and 22 May.
