Man injured in Cornwall 30ft cliff plunge

A man has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening head injuries after falling 30ft down cliffs at Polurrian Cove on the Lizard, Cornwall.

The man had been climbing with friends before he fell said police.

Mullion and Polurrian cliff rescue teams were assisted by paramedics and Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service.

Police said the man, who is in his 20s and not from the area, was being treated at the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske.
