Driver admits passengers' deaths after Launceston crash

A driver from Cornwall has admitted causing the deaths of two passengers in his car.

Peter Mark Hatch, 21, was driving with four passengers on the A388 at Lezant, Launceston, on 2 May 2011, when his car struck a wall and hit a tree.

Liam Hancock, 20, and Matthew Reynolds, 26, died as a result of the collision.

Hatch, of Moorland Road, Launceston, admitted two charges at Truro Crown Court of causing death by dangerous driving. He will be sentenced on 4 May.
