A former cattle market in Helston has reopened as a business and community centre.

The Cornwall town's cattle market went into decline after the outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in 2001.

The South Kerrier Alliance Community Interest Company secured £1.9m of funding to give it a new lease of life.

The new building, which includes conference facilities and community space, hosted a farmers' market on Saturday.
