Perranporth stabbing: Man released on bail

A man who was arrested after a 25-year-old was found lying on the ground with stab wounds in a Cornish town has been released on bail.

Police were called to Liskey Hill, Perranporth, at about 01:50 BST on Tuesday after the man was found with "serious injuries" following a fight.

A 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault.

Devon and Cornwall Police said he had been released on bail until 23 November.
