Driver dies after Cornwall 4x4 collision

A car driver has died after a collision with a 4x4 vehicle on a main road in Cornwall.

The man was driving along the westbound carriageway of the A30 near Redruth when the crash happened at about 03:30 BST.

The carriageway was closed and diversions were set up between the Scorrier turn off and the Redruth exit until about 16:30 BST.

The crash is being investigated by police.
