Zachary Collins from Hayle named as A30 crash victim

A man who died in a crash in west Cornwall has been named as Zachary Collins.

The 38-year-old, who was driving, was pronounced dead at the scene. A female passenger was taken to the Royal Cornwall Hospital with minor injuries.

The pair were travelling on the A30 at Loggans, Hayle, when the crash happened at about 03:00 BST on Saturday.

No other vehicles were involved. Police are appealing for witnesses.
