Treluswell crash woman named as Bridget Toy

A 61-year-old woman who died in a collision near Penryn has been named.

Bridget Toy, of Penryn, was involved in a crash on the B3292 on Wednesday. The other person, a man from Truro has not yet been named.

A 65-year-old man from Penryn, travelling with the pair in a silver BMW estate at Treluswell, was airlifted to Treliske with serious injuries.

The driver of the white Fiat Ducato truck, 22 from Penzance, suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The road was reopened at 19:10 BST after being closed for six hours.
