Road reopens after vehicle collision

A busy road in Cornwall has re-opened following a collision involving two cars, police have said.

The A39, which runs from Truro and Falmouth, was inaccessible between the Treluswell roundabout and the Norway Inn for several hours.

One person who was trapped in a vehicle was released by fire crews from Falmouth and Camborne.

The individual's condition is not yet known.
