A man who sparked a major search after he disappeared on a mobility scooter has been found 23 miles (37km) away.

The man, in his 70s, who was staying at a holiday park in Sennen, Cornwall, was reported missing on Thursday evening.

Coastguards, a police helicopter, two lifeboats and a cliff rescue team searched at Land's End after reports that a mobility scooter was seen travelling erratically on the A30.
