New director for National Maritime Museum Cornwall
The man who secured the future of the Cutty Sark is to become director of the Cornwall's National Maritime Museum.
Richard Doughty, who helped raise £55m towards the conservation of the tea clipper in Greenwich following a fire in 2007, will take over the role in September.
He succeeds Jonathon Griffin, who oversaw the museum's opening in 2003.
Mr Doughty said he was looking forward to living in the county after "many happy holidays in Cornwall".
