Falmouth gallery worker stole Rolf paintings

An art gallery worker who stole a book of paintings by Rolf Harris, as well as money and books worth £30,000, has been jailed for two years.

Matthew Dobson, 25, admitted 17 counts of theft and fraud while he worked at Driftwood in Falmouth, Cornwall, between August 2012 and July 2013.

Dobson, of Longfield, Falmouth, asked for 37 other offences to be taken into consideration by Truro Crown Court.

The court heard he stole Harris's book, A Portrait of London, worth £295.
