Bishop says 'urgent action' needed to tackle church decline

The Bishop of Truro has said "urgent action" needs to be taken to stem the decline in the number of people going to church.

The Right Reverend Tim Thornton said the Church of England will struggle to exist.

He said: "I believe we've got about 10 years to do something with the Church of England.

"We need to make some radical changes otherwise we will go on declining as we have been doing for about 100 years."
