Photography student jailed for filming models changing
A photography student who secretly filmed two models getting changed has been jailed for eight months.
David Parnall, 26, was found guilty of two charges of voyeurism at a previous hearing at Truro Crown Court.
The two women said Parnall approached them on Facebook and offered them paid modelling sessions.
Parnall told one woman he wanted to take pictures of her in an 18th Century manor house - which turned out to be derelict farm in Bodmin.
'No sexual gratification'
Prosecutors said Parnall, previously of Chegwyns, Foxhole, Cornwall and later living in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, captured her getting changed four times during the shoot in 2012 after he let his camera run in video mode, the court heard.
He was arrested and his camera equipment was seized after the woman complained to police.
Investigations revealed a video of a second woman getting undressed who was understood to have been filmed in the same location in 2011. She was later traced by officers, resulting in a second charge.
The court was previously told the defendant, who denied the offences, accepted he videoed the women, who were in their early 20s, without their knowledge but claimed "there was no sexual gratification, that wasn't the intent at all".
