Man killed and two children hurt in two-car Laneast crash

A man died and two children needed hospital treatment following a two-car collision.

Police were called to the A395 at Laneast in Cornwall on Sunday to the crash involving a Mini and a BMW 318.

The male driver of the Mini died at the scene and two girls aged 10 and 13 were taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth with arm injuries.

The male driver of the BMW and his female passenger suffered non-life threatening injuries.
