Warwickshire recycled goods raise £1m for hospice care

The sale of second hand goods donated to a recycling centre in Warwickshire have raised £1m.

A shop at Burton Farm household waste recycling centre in Stratford-on-Avon has been selling items which otherwise would have gone to landfill sites.

The shop has been run by volunteers from the Shakespeare Hospice and the money raised will be used to provide specialist palliative care.

The shop is continuing to operate and donations are welcome.
