Councillors meeting over Coventry taxi concerns

Taxi drivers in Coventry have repeated their call for a restriction on the number of cab licences before a council meeting to look at their complaints.

The drivers went on strike for four days earlier this month in protest at the increased number of cab licences in the city and the lack of ranks.

It ended when the drivers said the council had agreed to stop issuing licences for the time being.

Councillors will meet later to discuss the situation.
