Man hurt as car goes down quarry in Warwickshire

A man is thought to have broken a rib after a car he was in fell 15m (50ft) down a quarry.

The incident took place when the car somehow left Hartshill Road, Mancetter, in Warwickshire, earlier.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said firefighters managed to get down the quarry to where the car was.

All the people inside had managed to get out and the injured man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital with a suspected broken rib.
