Two injured in robbery at Coventry house
One man suffered stab wounds and another had bones broken when they were attacked at a house in Coventry.
Four youths with a cricket bat accosted the men in a garden in London Road, Stoke, and forced them into the house.
A 25-year-old man was stabbed and suffered an injury to his eye socket. The other man, aged 29, had fractures to his arms and jaw.
The offenders, described as white and aged 16 to 18, took electrical items, mobiles and cash.
The two victims' injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, said police.
West Midlands Police officers said the four offenders may have been involved in an attempted robbery a short time earlier at nearby Charterhouse social club in London Road.
Four youths armed with a cricket bat tried to steal a Mazda car, but the driver managed to drive away.
