Tribute after Nuneaton man dies in crash

The family of a man who died in a collision in Warwickshire have paid tribute to his "caring nature".

Jonathan Paul Froggett, 27, died when it was thought a car left the road near Bedworth, hit two trees and rebounded back across the carriageway.

The front seat male passenger escaped the Ford Focus as it caught fire following the collision on Saturday.

Mr Froggett, of Stockingford, Nuneaton, died at the scene of the crash, police said.

The collision happened as the car was driving away from Bedworth towards Astley Lane at 1520 BST.

The passenger suffered minor injuries and shock and was taken to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire for treatment and further assessment.

A statement from Mr Froggett's family released by police said: "His parents and family will dearly miss Jonathan and are immensely proud of him in all that he has achieved in his short life.

"His caring nature has been clearly demonstrated by the numerous tributes published on Facebook."
