Warwickshire appeal to find convicted sex offender

An appeal has been launched to find a sex offender convicted in his absence.

Nathan Lucas, 25, of Vernons Lane, Nuneaton, was found guilty of four counts of serious sexual assault, one attempted sexual assault and and one of false imprisonment.

He was found guilty in his absence at Warwick Crown Court on Thursday.

The offences took place between 2008 and 2009. Police have issued a warrant for his arrest.

He has not yet been sentenced.
