Four people have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in a Warwickshire village.

Two men and two women were arrested in Coventry after a man was found at a house in Rugby Road, Bulkington, near Bedworth, at 1655 BST on Sunday.

The man, who has not yet been formally identified, suffered serious chest injuries, police said.

A £5,000 reward for information has been offered leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Warwickshire Police have said they believe the victim was deliberately targeted.

'Community shocked'

Witnesses said several men were seen running away from the area.

Detectives said the group were arrested at an address in Coventry and have now all been transferred to Warwickshire where they are all being questioned in connection with the death.

Crimestoppers, which is offering the reward, said the incident had shocked the community.

Anyone providing information to the hotline is guaranteed anonymity, the spokesman added.

"We want to help catch those responsible and we hope that by funding this reward we will play a part in securing more information to support the police investigation."
