Missing Nuneaton sex offender arrested in Scotland

A sex offender, who was convicted in his absence, has been arrested after a police hunt for him.

Nathan Lucas, 25, of Vernon Lane, Nuneaton, was found guilty of four counts of serious sexual assault, one attempted sexual assault and and one of false imprisonment, on 23 June.

He was arrested by Lothian and Borders Police in Scotland on Wednesday night.

Lucas went missing during his trial at Warwick Crown Court. He has not yet been sentenced.
