Kenilworth pedestrian bridge installed

A new walking and cycling bridge will be lifted into place in Warwickshire this weekend.

The bridge will go over the A429 Coventry Road which will form the centrepiece of a series of new links for residents in Kenilworth.

It will also provide an off-road route from the town to Warwick University.

The new route uses the former Kenilworth to Berkswell railway line to link homes, schools and workplaces across the town.

The official opening of the route will take place later this month.
