Coventry cab driver found guilty of raping two women

A black cab driver has been jailed for nine years for raping two women.

John Naul, 63, of St Austell Road, Coventry, was found guilty at Coventry Crown Court of three counts of raping two women and two indecent assaults.

He was cleared of four rape charges and a charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. Naul had denied all the charges.

The court heard the two women had been working as prostitutes at the time of the attacks.

The charges related to incidents when Naul was working as a black cab driver in the Hillfields area of Coventry.
