Crews tackle Sutton-under-Brailes house fire

About 25 firefighters tackled a fire at a three-storey house in the centre of a village in the early hours.

The first floor and roof were severely damaged at the house in Sutton-under-Brailes, Warwickshire.

Firefighters brought the blaze under control within five hours and the cause was being investigated.

Two crews from Stratford-upon-Avon, one from Shipston-on-Stour and two from Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, went to the scene.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the blaze at about 04:40 GMT.
