Two men bailed after Rugby stabbing

Two men arrested in connection with a stabbing in a Warwickshire town have been released on bail.

A 26-year-old man was found on Newbold Road, Rugby, at 06:10 GMT on Saturday with serious stab wounds to his arms.

He underwent surgery at University Hospital Coventry and is thought to be in a serious but stable condition.

Warwickshire Police said two men, aged 20 and 21, arrested on Saturday morning had been bailed pending further inquiries.

Officers added that they wanted to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
