Baddesley Ensor community library in official opening

A community library has been officially opened in Warwickshire following cuts to the county council library service.

The Baddesley Ensor library is one of 16 which are to remain open with community groups running them.

The council has been planning to cut its overall annual budget by £70m between April 2011 and April 2014.

North Warwickshire and Bedworth Conservative MP Dan Byles officially opened the Baddesley Ensor library in the village hall.

The county council has contributed £10,500 to the new community facility, which is staffed by volunteers.

Books and DVDs have been provided by the council, which will also refresh them.
