Warwick Hospital norovirus outbreak visiting ban

A Warwickshire hospital has banned visiting to six wards following an outbreak of a winter vomiting bug.

The wards at Warwick Hospital have been affected by norovirus and a hospital spokesperson said closures were expected to last for at least a week.

The ban does not apply to the maternity or children's wards or the special care baby and intensive therapy units.

People wishing to visit the hospital should check South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust's website.
