Police investigate 'unexplained death' of Warwickshire man

A man's body has been found near garages at a property in Warwickshire.

Police are investigating the "unexplained death" after the body was found in Hare & Hounds Lane, Nuneaton at 09:40 BST.

The man has not been formally identified, but police said he was believed to be 60 year-old David Warren who was reported missing on Thursday.

Warwickshire Police said officers were awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.

Mr Warren was reported missing after he walked out of the George Eliot Hospital at 17:30 BST on Thursday.

Officers from Warwickshire Police are appealing for any witnesses who saw or heard any activity in the area of Hare & Hounds Lane that could be linked to the death.

They also asked witnesses who believe they saw a male matching Mr Warren's description in Nuneaton between 17:30 BST on Thursday and 09:00 on Saturday to come forward.
