Coventry man in court over public nuisance charges

A man accused of public nuisance offences relating to alleged phone calls of a sexual nature made to firms, has appeared in court.

Kevin O'Shea, 51, from Caradoc Close, Coventry, is also accused of breaching an anti-social behaviour order over an alleged call to The Samaritans.

Calls were allegedly made to businesses in the Coventry, Rugby, Nuneaton and Atherstone areas.

Mr O'Shea was remanded in custody by magistrates in Coventry.

He is due to appear before the city's crown court on 13 November.

Calls were allegedly made this year.
