Driver hurt as car hits Weethley house

A man suffered serious injuries when the car he was driving hit a house.

The 21-year-old was freed by fire crews after the Ford Fiesta struck the property in Evesham Road, Weethley, Warwickshire.

No-one inside the house was injured, but the building suffered considerable damage, police said.

The man was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire following the crash, which happened at about 05:40 BST.
