Pellet guns are thought to be have been used to smash more than 100 car windows in Coventry, police have said.

At least 54 windows in the Whoberley area were targeted between 11:30 BST on Saturday and 01:00 on Sunday.

Police are linking the vandalism to a similar spate earlier this month when more than 50 cars were damaged in Tile Hill and Eastern Green.

Officers want to trace the rider of a scrambler motorbike seen with a short barrelled pellet gun in Highfield Road.

They are also looking for a blue Citroen.
