M69 crash leaves two with 'numerous injuries'
Two men suffered "numerous injuries" when their car overturned on a motorway after colliding with a barrier.
It happened on the M69 in Coventry, between junction one and the M6 southbound, at about 15:40 GMT on Tuesday.
A man in his 40s suffered neck and back injuries, while a man in his 30s sustained shoulder injuries.
An ambulance service spokesman said the pair were "extremely fortunate" not to have been more seriously hurt.
It is thought the car hit a barrier on the hard shoulder, the West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said.
Both men were taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
The motorway has fully reopened.
