Coventry rail 'arson' information attracts £15k reward
A £15,000 reward has been offered for information about two suspected arson attacks near rail tracks in Coventry.
London Midland said it was alerted to signal failures between Canley and Hampton-in-Arden at about 00:30 BST on 2 May.
Engineers arrived to find a cable fire, while another fire was started in the Tile Hill area.
The train operator said the fires had caused "significant damage", with more than 20 cables affected.
British Transport Police said Network Rail, which is offering the reward, lost "more than half a million pounds" through disruption, as well as damage to equipment.
