Barrow man charged with wife's stab death

A man has been charged with murder after his wife was stabbed to death in Cumbria.

Sara Trelore, 44, was found at her home in North Row, Barrow, on 22 November with serious stab wounds. She died at the scene.

Her husband Russell, who also suffered stab wounds, was arrested on Monday and was charged on Tuesday with her murder.

The 49-year-old is in custody and is due to appear at Furness Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
