Arrests after baby rabbits killed in Cumbria

Wild baby rabbits have been killed by vandals who targeted a nursery in Cumbria.

Police said the animals were hit over the head with a broken piece of play equipment at Pear Tree Nursery in Longtown.

Officers said they were also investigating criminal damage incidents at Longtown School and the Oaks building site.

Three local youths, aged 13, 14 and 15 have been arrested.

They have been released on police bail until 11 June.
