Cumbria Police go online to gather intelligence

Police officers in Cumbria are to go online to gather intelligence on community policing.

The neighbourhood policing teams for Ulverston and the Lake District will be on the Cumbria Force's site for a webchat on Saturday evening.

Officers want people to log on to ask questions, debate policing issues and chat about crime and any problems in their areas affecting them.

The webchat takes place via the force's website between 1800 BST and 2000 BST.
