Crosby housing charity fire extinguished

Firefighters spent seven hours tackling a blaze at offices belonging to a housing charity in Cumbria.

Crews were called to the three-storey building at Moor Park in Crosby, near Maryport, at 15:12 BST on Saturday.

A spokeswoman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze was centred on the second and third floors, as well as in the roof.

No-one was in the building at the time of the blaze and its cause is being investigated.

The fire was out by 22:00.
