Carlisle cocaine-dealing trio get jail terms

Three men from Carlisle have been jailed after thousands of pounds worth of cocaine was found in a car.

They were held after a £60,000 stash was found in a country lane in Cumbria.

Ringleader Steven Crosby, 36, of Currock Park Avenue, admitted possessing cocaine with intent to supply. He was jailed for five years.

Adam Steventon, 26, of Sandsfield Park, and Kevin Underwood, 32, of Crindledyke, were found guilty of drug offences and jailed for three years.

The pair had denied possessing the cocaine with intent to supply but were found guilty at their trial at Carlisle Crown Court.

Crosby of Currock, in Carlisle, had denied possessing criminal property - £1,240 in cash which was also found in the car - but was found guilty at a trial.
