Police treat Barrow man's death as suspicious

The death of a man in south Cumbria is being treated as suspicious, police have said.

Paramedics were called to Emlyn Street, in Barrow, where the man, aged about 30, was pronounced dead.

A Home Office pathologist is due to carry out a post-mortem examination.

Cumbria CID said the death was being treated as suspicious and are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
