Driver charged over deaths of cyclist brothers at Moota

A coach driver has been charged with causing the deaths by dangerous driving of two brothers in Cumbria.

Christian Townend and Nicholas "Niggy" Townend were killed in a crash involving a coach while cycling at Moota on the A595 on 5 December 2010.

Christian, 29, from Brigham, and 21-year-old Nicholas, from Cockermouth, were pronounced dead at the scene.

A 43-year-old man from Carlisle will appear before magistrates in Workington on 9 December.
