Appeal after £26,000 theft from Cumbrian shed

More than £26,000 worth of equipment has been stolen from a shed in Cumbria.

The theft happened between 28 and 29 December, when an agricultural shed in a field off the A595 between Carlisle and Cockermouth was broken into.

The nine stolen items included a yellow five-tonne Komatsu digger, an Ivor Williams trailer and a Husqvarna chainsaw.

Anyone with information or who saw something suspicious, is asked to contact Cumbria Police.
