Teenager arrested after pedestrian killed in Cumbria
A teenager was arrested after a man was killed and another injured when they were hit by a car in Cumbria.
The men were struck on the A5087 at Conishead Bardsea at 15:50 GMT on Sunday.
George Tyson, 61, from Ulverston, died at the scene. The other man was taken to Furness General Hospital, where he was released after treatment.
The 17-year-old male driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
