Two arrests in Paul Green murder inquiry

Two men have been arrested after a 44-year-old man died a day after being found in a street with head injuries.

Police were called to Penrith Street, Barrow, in the early hours of Thursday where they found victim Paul Green.

Mr Green, of Adelphi Court in the town, was taken to Furness General Hospital with "life-threatening" injuries. He died on Friday.

Two men, aged 42 and 29, have been arrested on suspicion of his murder, Cumbria Police have confirmed.
